Our Story
Josh and I met in Goa, India in 2004. We backpacked through the entire country for 2 years, got engaged and tied the knot on Andaman Islands. We continued our journey to South Africa and then travelled to Florida. After having our son Kai, we explored the world some more with him until it was time to settle down.
We were looking for a suitable place in North Carolina for our new venture. In 2009 we found the perfect spot I call 'Our little Paradise' in Green Creek and opened Dogwood Farm Kennels. At the beginning of 2022 I discovered my love for pickleball, not long after, Josh joined me and now we are both hooked on the sport.
We started competing in tournaments and advanced leagues, but eventually decided to focus on teaching pickleball.
It's brought so much joy into our lives that we just want to spread the pickleball love to everybody.
We have been coaching pickleball since February 2024 and are a part of APB (Adaptive Pickleball) in Greenville where we work with individuals that have special needs and physical divers-abilities.

A few years ago I tapped into my creative energy and started exploring with acrylic paint. Painting intuitively and with intention, my aim is not only to provide you with thought provoking décor, but also bring to your space the energy I infuse into my art. I use a variety of high quality mediums and substrates to offer you original, soulful artwork for every room in your home.
I had this crazy idea of combining two of my favorite hobbies, pickleball and painting. On this site I will put all my creations that include pickleballs and I will release new artwork bi-weekly so check back frequently.
